Booster has appointed Simon O'Grady as the new chief investment officer.
O'Grady, who previously held the same role at Kiwi Wealth/Kiwi Invest for nearly a decade, will begin his new position in mid-September.
“He’s coming to Booster at a time when investment markets remain complicated, there’s a lot of competition among KiwiSaver providers and a lot going on in the private investment space. We’re delighted to welcome someone of his experience and standing to our team,” said CEO Di Papadopoulos.
Booster is one of the six government-appointed default KiwiSaver scheme providers with over $7 billion in funds under management.
(This story has been corrected to clarify that O'Grady has been appointed CIO of Booster).
