Sky secures exclusive Max rights in New Zealand

Sky has been confirmed as the exclusive home of Max in New Zealand through an expanded partnership with Warner Bros.

Discovery (WBD).

The new Max-branded hub on Sky and Neon, set to launch on October 30, 2024, will offer a wide range of content, including popular series, blockbuster movies, and family favourites.

Sky's SoHo channel will also be rebranded as HBO, exclusively featuring HBO original content.

The agreement is expected to have a positive impact on Sky's free cash flow in the first half of the 2025 financial year.
