SkyCity chief executive Michael Ahearne will step down from his role on March 8 2024, as part of the company's previously announced succession plan.
Callum Mallett, currently SkyCity's chief operating officer for New Zealand, will take over as interim chief executive from March 9 2024.
SkyCity chairman Julian Cook will also provide executive support on a part-time fixed-term basis, starting on February 26 2024.
However, once a new chief executive is appointed, Cook is expected to cease this executive role.
The chief executive succession process is said to be "progressing and relatively well advanced", with further announcements to come.
