SkyCity Entertainment has reached a resolution in its long-standing casino duty dispute in South Australia.

The company's subsidiary, SkyCity Adelaide, has accepted an offer from the South Australian Treasurer to fully resolve the contractual dispute and associated legal proceedings.

As part of the agreement, SkyCity Adelaide will pay A$13.1 million in additional casino duty, A$24.8m in interest, and A$200,000 in the Treasurer's costs.

The total payment of A$38.1m covers casino duty return periods from January 2014 to January 2024.
