Smartpay shareholders approve Shift4 arrangement scheme

Smartpay shareholders have voted in favour of the scheme of arrangement with Shift4 Holdings and Shift4 Payments.

The resolution, which was unanimously recommended by the company's directors, was approved by the requisite majorities at the scheme meeting held in Sydney and online.

All shareholders voted in a single interest class.

The scheme now requires the approval of the High Court in New Zealand to be implemented.
