South Port New Zealand Limited's Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2022 has been released, showing an after-tax profit of $12.83 million, a 19.7% increase on the previous year's result.
This includes two one-off adjustments and when these are removed, the normalised after-tax profit for the 2022 financial year is $11.16 million, a 6.8% increase.
Bulk cargo volumes were up 6.1% and container volumes were down 18.5%.
The Board have elected to pay a consistent final dividend of 19.50 cents, translating to a full-year dividend of 27.00 cents.
