Spark has announced the appointment of Stewart Taylor as its new chief financial officer, effective from December 9, 2024.
Taylor, who has over 25 years of experience in finance and executive roles in the financial services sector, previously served as the chief financial officer at Partners Life.
He also had a 15-year career at ANZ New Zealand, where he held various senior finance positions, including chief financial officer and chief executive officer of ANZ Investments.
Taylor is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Durham.
He will also be appointed as a director of Spark Finance on December 20, 2024.
The outgoing finance director, Stefan Knight, will depart the company on the same date.
