Synlait Milk's CEO, Grant Watson, is restructuring the company's executive leadership team in a bid to enhance alignment, reduce costs, and drive growth.
As part of the changes, a new chief commercial officer role will be established, with Naiche Nogueira, the former director of advanced nutrition, appointed to the position.
Additionally, the role of director of quality, regulatory, and laboratory services will be disestablished, with these functions to be integrated across the rest of the business.
These adjustments will result in a reduction of two direct reports to the CEO.
Watson emphasised the need for a greater return on the capability and capacity of executive roles, stating that the restructuring would improve performance and provide better focus and support for employees and customers.
