Synlait Milk Limited is planning to divest its Dairyworks and Talbot Forest Cheese businesses in order to focus on growing its Advanced Nutrition and Foodservice businesses.
The company has engaged investment banking firm Jarden to advise on the divestment, with the proceeds to be used to pay down debt.
