Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) has been notified that the process for an on-site verification audit for the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) re-registration of its Dunsandel facility will begin in the week of 20 February 2023.
The audit is the last step in the re-registration process before requesting final approval by SAMR and is necessary to ensure the facility is compliant with China’s new GB (food safety) legislation standards.
Synlait’s CEO Grant Watson commented on the development, expressing satisfaction with the certainty of the process timing.
