Third Age Health Services has reported a 115% increase in net profit after tax for the six months to Sept 30, 2024.

The primary care provider's underlying net profit after tax and amortisation (NPATA) also grew by 96%.

The company's overall gross profit margin improved to 51.6%.

The acquisition of Hub Aged Care in April has helped expand its elder care services in the Lower North Island.

Third Age Health now services 87 aged residential care facilities, up from 67, and provides care to 5,278 residents.

The total number of patients it serves, including those in aged residential care and community general practices, has increased to 25,810.

The company declared a fully imputed interim dividend of 3.55 cents per share for the second quarter of the 2025 financial year.
