Tower has announced that it is conducting a strategic review of its ownership structure.

The review, which has the support of 20% shareholder Bain Capital, aims to explore options to maximize value for all Tower shareholders and optimise its capital structure.

Goldman Sachs New Zealand has been appointed as the financial adviser for the strategic review.

Tower reassured shareholders and stakeholders that its business operations will continue as usual during the review process.

The board will not provide further comment on the review until it is completed, which is expected to take several months.

No decisions regarding any potential transaction or outcome will be made until the review is finished.

Tower is an insurance company that offers a range of insurance products in New Zealand and the Pacific.
