TruScreen has begun a major commercial rollout of its cervical cancer screening devices in Vietnam, with an order placed by Gorton Health Services.
The Vietnamese distributor has ordered 10 TruScreen devices and 1,800 single-use sensors, with a total value of approximately $100,000.
This is the first major order received by TruScreen following the approval of its product on the Vietnamese Ministry of Health's Technical List.
GHS will now start the placement of TruScreen devices in key hospitals across Vietnam.
Vietnam, which has over 35 million women of screening age, presents a significant market for TruScreen.
The company expressed confidence that its innovative technology will contribute to achieving the World Health Organization's targets for cervical cancer screening in Vietnam.
