TruScreen has announced the launch of a five-year cervical cancer screening program in Vietnam, in partnership with the Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association and distributor Gorton Health Services.

The program, which aims to screen 260,000 women in Ho Chi Minh City, will commence in the first quarter of 2025.

TruScreen's real-time, non-invasive cervical cancer screening technology was chosen for the program due to its portability, ease of use, and suitability for large population screenings.

The program will involve proactive screening, where the team will directly contact women to encourage them to attend screening and raise awareness about the risks of cervical cancer.

It will also support and monitor patients with positive test results and promote ongoing screening.
