TruScreen has announced the launch of a five-year program to screen 260,000 women for cervical cancer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The program, which was launched on April 12, 2025, will utilise TruScreen's AI-enabled, real-time, non-invasive cervical cancer screening device as its primary screening methodology.
It is a partnership between TruScreen, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association and distributor Gorton Health Services.
The initiative aims to help the Vietnamese government achieve its goal of screening 60% of women aged 30 to 54 for cervical cancer, up from the current rate of 25%.
The program will also focus on promoting awareness of cervical cancer and collecting epidemiological data.
The screening will take place at gynaecology clinics and high-tech private clinics, with plans for gradual expansion to other provinces in Vietnam.
