Uvre has announced the granting of a prospecting permit for the Invincible Gold Project in New Zealand's Otago Goldfields.

The 164.3 square kilometre project covers the historic Invincible gold mine and Glenorchy tungsten mines.

Uvre said the Invincible gold mine, which operated in the early 1900s, had an average production grade of about 30 grams per tonne of gold.

The company said there have been no modern exploration activities conducted on the project.

Uvre's exploration programs in the South Island are set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with a maiden drilling program planned for the first half of 2026.
