Vector appoints Bruce Hassall as director

Vector has announced the appointment of Bruce Hassall as a director, effective October 31, 2023.

The appointment follows an external review and search by the Vector Board. Mr. Hassall currently serves as the Chair of Fletcher Building Limited, The Farmers’ Trading Company Limited, and Profile Group Holdings Limited.

He is also a director of Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited and previously held the position of senior partner and CEO of PwC New Zealand.

The board has determined that Mr. Hassall will be an independent director.

As this appointment fills a casual vacancy, Mr. Hassall will stand for election at the next meeting of shareholders.

Vector's chair, Doug McKay, expressed delight with the appointment, highlighting Mr. Hassall's commercial and governance experience.
