Ventia secures $2.7 billion defence contracts

Ventia has been awarded two Base Services Transformation packages by the Department of Defence, valued at approximately $2.7 billion.

The contracts, which have an initial term of six years and two extension options of up to a maximum of 10 years, will involve the delivery of Living and Working Services in the Northern Territory, Victoria, and Tasmania, as well as Property and Asset Services in Western Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania.

This represents one-third of the LWS and PAS packages.

The national Firefighting Services package, the first to be released under the BST program, was also awarded to Ventia in July 2024.

The BST packages are expected to commence operations on February 1, 2026.
