Vital has announced that trading in its equity securities has been halted.
The trading halt, which was approved by NZ RegCo, took effect at 9.54am today.
It will remain in place until the opening of trading tomorrow morning, or the release of a new takeover notice over Vital's ticker, whichever occurs earlier.
