Vulcan Steel has announced a leadership transition, with chief executive Rhys Jones set to retire after 19 years in the role.
Gavin Street, who joined the company in 2024 and currently serves as chief commercial officer, will be appointed as the new managing director and chief executive, effective from January 1, 2026.
Vulcan's chair, Russell Chenu, has also indicated his intention to step down, with Jones proposed to succeed him as board chair.
The company said the planned transition reflects its focus on stability, governance, and long-term value creation.
