Warehouse Group appoints Mark Stirton as CFO

The Warehouse Group has announced the appointment of Mark Stirton as its new Group Chief Financial Officer, effective from 1 April 2024.

Stirton, who has been with South African retailer, Mr Price Group, for the past seven years, brings a wealth of experience in the omni-channel value retail market.

He has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Director at Mr Price Group, which has over 2,700 stores.

Stirton is a chartered accountant and also holds an MBA from the University of Barcelona.

In the meantime, Celia Mearns will continue to act as the Acting CFO until Stirton takes on the role next year.

The Warehouse Group's CEO, Nick Grayston, expressed gratitude to Mearns for her valuable contribution and said he looks forward to her continuing to be an important part of the team.
