Manawa Energy closes retail bond exchange offer

Manawa Energy Limited (Manawa Energy) has today announced that its Exchange Offer of five year, unsecured, unsubordinated, fixed rate bonds (Bonds) has closed.

The Exchange Offer was oversubscribed, taking the total issue amount of Bonds to $150,000,000. Details of the Exchange Offer will be announced via NZX once allocations have been completed, which will be prior to the issue date of the Bonds (Thursday, 8 September 2022). Scaling will be undertaken in accordance with the Final Terms Sheet.

The Bonds are expected to be issued on Thursday, 8 September 2022 and will mature on 8 September 2027. Exchange Offer participants will be able to view their allocations on the Computershare investor website (www.investorcentre.com/nz) from the issue date. Holding statements will be sent to Exchange Offer participants on Monday, 12 September 2022. On Thursday, 15 September 2022, MNW150 bondholders who exchange their bonds will receive a payment for the interest on those bonds from the last interest payment date on 15 June 2022 to (but excluding) the issue date of the new Bonds (less any applicable taxes).

The Bonds are expected to be quoted on the NZX Debt Market on Friday, 9 September 2022 under ticker code MNW190.
