Notification of Name and Ticker Code Change

Freightways Limited (NZX:FRE) advises that will be changing its name to “Freightways Group Limited” and ticker code from “FRE” to “FRW” with effect from market open on 1 March 2023.
Freightways is making these changes to allow it, at an appropriate time in the future, to apply for admission to the official list of ASX Limited (ASX) as an ASX Foreign Exempt Listing, where Freightways’ existing name and the ticker code “FRE” are not available. With Australia now representing a more significant share of Freightways’ activities, a dual listing is expected to align with Freightways’ strategy.
