Auckland based financier; Marvin Yee will as of the 1st of July 2023, take over the Chairman role of NZX listed Greenfern Industries. The previous Chairman Phillip Brown will step down as Chairman from the 30th of June but will remain on the Greenfern Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr Yee’s appointment represents a rotation of responsibilities and commitments across the Board and will bring a new set of skills and experience to the leadership of the Board as the Company moves forward.

Mr Yee was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director when the company was listed in October 2021.
‘I am excited to take on this role at a time when Greenfern is going through a cathartic point in its journey to become a best of breed producer of medical cannabis. The high standards of New Zealand's unique cannabinoids make it ideally suited to a range of medical and therapeutic applications which I expect will provide the company a significant competitive advantage in the near future’.

Mr Yee is the Managing Partner of International Private Equity firm, Crown Capital which provides debt and equity funding to high-growth companies. He has numerous business interests and directorships both in and outside of New Zealand.
