APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
Aged care and retirement living provider, Promisia Healthcare Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rhonda Sherriff as a director with effect today. The Board considers that Rhonda is an independent director for the purposes of the Listing Rules.
Rhonda has worked in the aged care sectors for over 30 years in governance, senior leadership, clinical, quality and operational management roles. Rhonda is currently a Board member of the New Zealand Aged Care Association and is also co-owner of Chatswood Retirement Village in Opawa, Christchurch. Rhonda commenced her career as a registered nurse and regularly consults to the industry providing support and advice to a number of industry providers.
In accordance with the Listing Rules, Rhonda will retire from office at this year’s annual shareholders meeting and stand for re-election. Upon being re-elected, the Board intends to appoint Rhonda as the new Chair of the Board.
The Board is delighted to have Rhonda join the Company as we position ourselves to be the aged care facility of choice in each of our communities and take advantage of opportunities to grow our network. We look forward to introducing her to shareholders at our Annual Meeting later this year.
