IKE Appoints Brett Willitt as SVP Product Management

Former President of SPIDA Software and one of the foremost structural analysis experts in the U.S.

IKE is pleased to announce that it has appointed Brett Willitt as its SVP of Product Management, to be based in the company’s United States operation.

Brett has a range of experiences directly relevant to the market and core customers that IKE addresses. Brett is the former President of structural analysis and structure management software company SPIDA Software (SPIDA). SPIDA was acquired by NASDAQ listed Bentley Systems Inc. in 2021, where Brett subsequently led segments of Bentley’s’ distribution network software initiative. Prior to his tenures at Bentley Systems and at SPIDA Software, Brett held other prominent positions in the energy industry, including Product Engineering Manager at national engineering group Osmose Utilities Services and Joint-Use product manager at FirstEnergy Utility. Brett began his career as a network planning engineer for Verizon. Overall, he has more than 25 years of experience in building technology solutions for the North American communications and electric utility sectors, with a focus on Outside Plant and Joint Use infrastructure, which are the core applications for IKE’s product suite. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.

IKE CEO Glenn Milnes commented, "We have known and admired Brett and SPIDA, who our PoleForeman product competes with directly, for many years. As such we are very excited to welcome his deep domain expertise into our company where he will work alongside myself and our US-centred leadership team. As noted, Brett’s experiences are uniquely matched to IKE’s product suite, our industry, and our growth goals.”

Brett Willitt added “My decision to join IKE was fuelled by the profound belief that utility poles and overhead infrastructure is at a critical juncture across the North American landscape. I believe the market opportunity in front of IKE is enormous given the company’s strategy, product position, and growth momentum. With a real sense of excitement and anticipation I’m eager and determined to help propel IKE to further new heights.”
