Freightways announces the retirement of Steve Wells and the appointment of Aaron Stubbing as General Manager - Express Package
Freightways announces that Steve Wells, the Express Package GM, will be stepping down next year, after a 40-year tenure within the Freightways Group. Steve will be retiring in March 2024.
Steve’s accomplished career at Freightways has traversed a number of roles including General Management stints at each of Messenger Services, Post Haste and New Zealand Couriers.
Steve will be succeeded in the role by Aaron Stubbing, current Post Haste General Manager, with effect from 14 March 2024.
Aaron has been with Freightways for 28 years. He began his career as a qualified management accountant and has worked his way through branch and regional management roles with New Zealand Couriers and General Manager of Messenger Services prior to taking on the Post Haste role in 2019.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Steve for his considerable influence and achievements across the Express Package business over many decades and wish him well in his retirement.
