Vital extends Powerco telecommunications managed service

Vital extends telecommunications managed service with Powerco:

Vital (NZX: VTL) are pleased to advise the extension to the managed service contract with Powerco until 2026.

The network comprises of:

• A Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier III Voice Radio Network and
• A WAN (Packet Transport Network or PTN).

Vital looks forward to continuing building on our strategic relationship with Powerco.

Powerco is one of New Zealand’s largest electricity and gas distributors with over 900,000 customers connected to its networks. Powerco’s electricity networks are in Bay of Plenty, Thames, Coromandel, Southern Waikato, Taranaki, Whanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu and the Wairarapa. Its gas pipeline networks are in Taranaki, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Wellington, Horowhenua and Hawke’s Bay.
