LIC Independent Director not to seek re-election
Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (LIC) Board Chair Corrigan Sowman today announced that Independent Director Candace Kinser, won’t be seeking re-election this year.
Kinser has held a number of senior roles in the biotech and technology sector and Sowman says her experience has been invaluable to LIC.
“Candace is approaching her nineth year as Independent Director on the LIC Board, and I am thankful for her service. Her contribution to LIC’s decision-making and the Technology Advisory Group, especially in relation to agri-tech developments, has put the company in good stead. We wish her all the best with her future endeavours,” says Sowman.
Kinser was appointed to the Board in October 2015 and will stay on in her role as Independent Director until LIC’s Annual Meeting in September 2024.
Post-Budget, all eyes are on the Reserve Bank's OCR announcement next Wednesday.
