NZ RegCo refers to its announcement released at 5.05pm yesterday, Wednesday, 10 July 2024.

NZ RegCo confirms it has exercised its discretion under NZX Listing Rule 9.9.3, and applied a trading halt to the securities of Synlait Milk Limited (NS) (“SML”). Trading in SML ordinary shares and SML010 bonds was halted at 1.30pm today, Thursday, 11 July 2024.

The trading halt will remain in place until 15 minutes after the release by SML through the NZX Market Announcement Platform of the outcome of the resolution put to the special shareholders’ meeting, including the results of polls conducted.
