Promisia Healthcare Limited (Promisia) (NZX: PHL) is pleased to announce it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with The Masonic Villages Trust to sell its Eileen Mary care facility and village in Dannevirke.

Eileen Mary is non-core to Promisia’s portfolio, as Promisia is seeking larger scale facilities in regions with a growing population as part of its strategy.

Promisia is thrilled to pass on ownership to The Masonic Villages Trust, a registered charity and a very experienced aged care provider. Promisia is confident that The Masonic Villages Trust will be a quality owner for Eileen Mary residents and staff.

The purchase price for the business and assets is $6.1 million plus GST (if any).

The sale and purchase agreement is conditional on regulatory approval and consent to transfer a material contract.

Completion is anticipated to be mid-October.

Promisia looks forward to updating the market further.
