Partial Takeover Offer Withdrawn

Vital Limited (NZX: VTL) announces that, over the weekend, Empire Technology Limited confirmed in writing that it has decided that it will not proceed to make a partial takeover offer for Vital on the basis of the takeover notice dated 26 August 2024.

Vital will now continue to focus on its turnaround strategy, which is centred on optimising our business and network assets, increasing access to our quality Wired and Wireless networks, and driving a stronger customer focus. Positive progress against this strategy was reflected in our most recent annual results, which were in line with expectations despite challenging business conditions.

The Board remains committed to acting in the best long-term interests of all shareholders.

Vital Chair
