T&G appoints new Director
T&G Global today announces the appointment of Philipp Trachtenberg as a Non-Independent Director, effective 10 March 2025.
Philipp Trachtenberg has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business development. He is currently Chief Financial Officer for BayWa Global Produce GmbH and Head of Portfolio Management and M&A for BayWa AG.
T&G Chair, Benedikt Mangold, says Mr Trachtenberg will bring valued expertise to the Board.
“Philipp brings extensive financial experience, combined with a deep understanding of the agriculture and fruit sectors. We look forward to the valuable contribution he will make to the Board and business.”
As required by rule 2.7.1 of the New Zealand Stock Exchange Listing Rules, Mr Trachtenberg will retire at the Annual Shareholders Meeting on 7 May 2025 and be eligible for re-election.
Philipp Trachtenberg - biography
Philipp joined BayWa AG in 2010 and has over 15 years of corporate finance experience in Germany and the United States.
In addition to his executive roles, he serves as a Board Member at BHBW Holdings (Pty) Ltd in South Africa and Alberta AG Centre in Alberta, Canada.
Following an initial role at Dresdner Kleinwort in New York, Philipp joined BayWa AG in 2010. Since 2024, he has been Head of Portfolio Management and M&A. In 2025, Philipp was appointed Chief Financial Officer of BayWa Global Produce GmbH in Munich, the majority shareholder of T&G.
Philipp studied in Germany and the United States and holds a degree in economics.
