Third Age Health Services Limited (NZX: TAH) advises that John Fernandes, current Chairman of the Board, has been appointed Executive Chairman, effective from the date of CEO Tony Wai’s departure in October.
This appointment is intended to provide leadership continuity and support to the team in delivering the company’s strategic priorities through the upcoming period per the previously announced CEO transition.
John has requested that any remuneration relating to his executive responsibilities be fully variable and tied to drivers of value creation. The Board is currently working through the appropriate remuneration structure. It has also determined that John will be classified as a non-independent director while serving as Executive Chairman.
Concurrently, John will step down from the Audit Committee, and Non-Executive Director Bevan Walsh will be appointed in his place.
