Tesco forms partnership with Esquires Coffee Ireland

SUPERMARKET CHAIN TESCO FORMS PARTNERSHIP WITH COOKS COFFEE’S
ESQUIRES CAFÉ BRAND IN IRELAND

Cooks Coffee Company NZX:CCC; AQUIS:COOK), is pleased to announce the completion of a new partnership agreement with Tesco Ireland, under which five Esquires stores are scheduled to open before the end of November 2025.

Both parties view this as a highly complementary partnership, bringing the Esquires premium coffee and food offering to select Tesco locations.

The Esquires cafes will be established inside the Tesco stores with full café layouts offering extensive food and refreshment options.

Cooks Coffee owns Esquires Coffee House Ireland which franchises the Esquires (The Organic Coffee Company) cafes throughout Ireland.

“Partnerships with businesses such as Tesco Ireland are part of our ongoing strategy and innovation as we continue our fast track growth,” said Executive Chairman Keith Jackson.

Tesco has 193 stores in Ireland with over €3.4 billion Euros in turnover.

Esquires cafes will be in Tesco locations in Ardkeen Waterford, Wexford Town, Clonmel, Tullamore and Youghal. The five stores will be operated by an award winning franchisee who operates Esquires Mullingar which is one of the most successful in the Esquires Ireland portfolio.

Worldwide Tesco has over 5,000 stores in 6 countries with a turnover of £9.9 billion pounds, are listed on the London Stock Exchange and are part of the FTSE 100 Index.
