The post-lockdown shopping spree is still in full swing at Briscoe Group, where third-quarter sales rose 15 percent as the retailer heads into the all-important Christmas and New Year trading period.Sales for the 13 weeks ended Oct. 25 were up $21 million at $161.3 million, taking year-to-date sales up 2.4 percent on the prior year.The result was driven by homeware sales increasing 12.3 percent to $98.7 million and sporting goods up 19.5 percent at $52.4 million.“After trading interruptions due to covid-19, we’re delighted in the wa...
