Downer EDI has secured a road maintenance contract with Hamilton city council, valued at up to $540 million, for a maximum term of 10 years.The contract is for an initial five-year period but contains provisions for extensions of three years and two years.Downer will work with the Hamilton city council on asset management, surfacing and renewals for road corridors, footpaths, bridges, culverts, lighting and on-road cycle lanes.In 2013, Downer started working with the council under the Hamilton Infrastructure Alliance.The new agreement replaces...
