Inflation data keep RBNZ rate cuts on track

Data out on Tuesday still point to inflation hitting close to 3% in the September quarter, in line with what the central bank expected when it forecast another two rate cuts this year.“While today’s result was a little softer than expected, it still leaves us with a picture of overall consumer price inflation that is pushing higher.
