KPMG slashes nearly 50 jobs in early consulting restructure

KPMG is proposing a plan to restructure its consulting business, which will result in the layoffs of nearly 50 people.A spokesperson for KPMG confirmed in a statement that the firm shared the plan with its staff on Friday. “The firm’s proposal for reshaping this area of operations means it is having to make some difficult decisions regarding its people, and this has resulted, after careful consideration and consultation, in almost 50 redundancies being advised today.”KPMG chief executive Jason Doherty said the firm&#...
