Activity in New Zealand’s manufacturing sector contracted in April, according to the latest BNZ – BusinessNZ Performance of Manufacturing Index (PMI).The seasonally adjusted PMI for April was 49.1. While this was 1 point higher than in March, it still indicates the sector is declining.
