Economists expect the economy expanded in the December quarter but many remain cautious about the outlook for 2025.ASB Bank economist Wesley Tanuvasa and senior economist Mark Smith said the economy likely grew 0.3% quarter-on-quarter, in line with forecasts from the central bank.This would mark a significant improvement after the economy contracted 1% quarter-on-quarter in the September quarter and 1.1% in the June quarter.
