Overall levels of retail spending on the Paymark network were the same in 2020 compared to 2019 despite a massive drop in the second quarter as lockdowns hit the economy.Total spending on the network was up 0.1 percent for the year compared to the previous 12 months.The bounce back following restrictions largely made up for the lost income during that tough period for many retailers.After a 15.5 percent hit in the June quarter, retail spending was up in the September and December quarters.Regional variationThe picture in different regions was m...
