A 10% increase in household electricity bills has been recorded in the latest government data as ministers contemplate whether to make any changes to the market structure.The Quarterly Survey of Domestic Electricity Prices (QSDEP) said as of May 15 this year, there were higher lines and transmission charges, as well as higher energy costs, compared to the previous quarter.The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) said this had translated to an average 10.1% increase in household electricity bills for a modelled customer.MB...
