ANZ Bank's Australian parent shouldn't by paying a first-half dividend, according to UBS analyst Jonathan Mott. "With around a third of the Australasian population still locked in their homes across Victoria and greater Auckland, the deepest recession in a lifetime with 12 percent of mortgages and 14 percent of business loans still on repayment deferral, we question whether this is prudent," Mott said.
