ASB Bank lifted first-half net profit 23% with home lending up 8% and business lending up 10%, with its margins improving from the previous first half.The bank's net profit for the six months ended December rose to $762 million from $619m in the same six months a year earlier.ASB's parent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, lifted its first-half net profit 26% to A$4.74 billion with ASB's contribution up 27% in Australian dollar terms.ASB's net interest margin was  2.19%, up seven basis points compared with the same six months...
