Housing lending by the five largest banks eased in the September quarter while lending to businesses grew a little and the fall in lending to agriculture by the big four accelerated.The five largest banks lent $5.96 billion on housing in the latest quarter, down from $7.85b in the June quarter, and $1.34b to businesses, up from $1.06b in the June quarter, according to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's (RBNZ) bank financial strength dashboard.That took annual lending on housing by the big five to $32.46b and their lending to business to $1.8...
