Investors chase housing market yields with low-rate mortgages

Investors are flooding back to the housing market and they're mostly buying because of low interest rates, rather than capital gains, according to analysis by economist Tony Alexander.His latest survey of 381 real estate agents found the biggest change has been increased investor interest. A net 59 percent of agents say they're seeing more investors, up from 38 percent in October and 16 percent in June."Investors are seen as more present than in our October survey in all regions for which we have sufficient agent responses to...
