New Zealand’s mergers and acquisitions market is booming on the back of record capital flow, according to an annual report released today.Simpson Grierson’s latest Expanding Horizons report shows 2021 is on track to see 20% more M&A deals than 2020, while the value of deals has increased by 250%, driven by high amounts of local and offshore private equity.The numbers mirror other reports of intense deal flow activity among most NZ M&A and corporate advisory teams, which have been running at or near capacity for months.Simpso...
