New Zealand market 'risks falling behind' on fees

New Zealand’s markets are now less investor-friendly than they once were, in terms of fees and expenses. Morningstar’s latest Global Investor Experience report has downgraded NZ from above average, to average, and says NZ risks falling behind its global peers. The report investigated the experiences of managed fund investors in 26 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. The most common way for New Zealanders to access managed funds is through KiwiSaver, with banks holding around 80% of the market sha...
