Big ambitions for UPS’s NZ medical play

Postage giant UPS has purchased a Christchurch firm in an attempt to cash in on the burgeoning medical logistics market. Cedra Express will today (Sept 8) become Marken, which is UPS Healthcare’s clinical supply chain subsidiary. Financial details of the deal are confidential but the move involves most of Cedra Express’ 15 staff moving to new ownership. Marken said it expects at least 20% revenue growth in its first year, off double-digit revenue growth from the current year. The company’s Asia-Pacific vice...
